This course is aimed at Orbital, manual TIG welders and pipefitters who want to up skill to become Orbital welders who can then work in the Pharma and the microchip industry.

Trainees will receive a certificate of participation confirming that they have acquired the required knowledge. Our Academy and Orbitalum of Germany will issue the certificate.

1. Module 1 - Orbital Welding 3-day Basic Course
   Course Content:
   • Principles of orbital welding and operating, power supply and weld heads. ▪ Programming and operation of systems.
   • Cutting, facing, and prepping requirements.
   • Shielding and backing purge gases and procedures.
   • Users will be aware of the safety measures required to operate different equipment.
   • The trainee will then be able to weld with the Orbital welding Equipment.

2. Module 2 – Orbital Welding 5-day course
   • Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
   • Industry weld specifications and Orbital weld Quality evaluation.
   • Learn to weld in simulated site conditions, learn and practice welding in different positions, in confined spaces.
   • The welder will then be prepared for site work and be ready for Module 3.

3. Module 3 - On site coaching and training
   We highly recommend that we send one of our Orbital welding Supervisors / Instructors who have many years’ experience working on Intel and other microchip Fab projects worldwide.

   To your workshop or construction site to supervise and coach the candidates after training in India and trainees have completed module 1 and 2.

   We estimate 2 to 4 weeks training for group of up to 10 Orbital welders.

   This coaching will quickly bring the orbital welders up to the required safety, quality standards, and high production levels.

   This investment will bring enormous dividends resulting in high quality welds and very high production levels.
